Mae’r pwll yn 25m o hyd a 10m ar draws. Yn y pen bas, mae’r pwll yn 1m dwfn ac yn y pen dwfn, mae’r pwll yn 2m yn y man dyfnach. Rydyn ni’n gallu rhannu’r pwll mewn i 5 lôn nofio neu rannu’r pwll mewn i dri parth pan gynhelir y gwersi nofio.

Oriau agor y pwll
Elusen yw Calon Tysul ac oherwydd y cynnydd diweddar mewn costau ynni mae angen lleihau oriau agor y pwll, yn anffodus. Fodd bynnag, mae’r pwll ar agor tua 30 awr yr wythnos, o Ddydd Llun i Ddydd Sadwrn, gyda rhan fwya o’r amser yn mynd at ein rhaglenni dysgu nofio. Mae nifer o sesiynau eraill megis, Aerobeg Dŵr, Nofio i’r Teulu, Nofio mewn Lôn ar gael hefyd.

The swimming pool in Llandysul was opened in 1975 – the result of several years of fundraising by the local community. You can see more of the history of the pool on our ‘Our Story’ page here but the pool has been a central part of thousands and thousands of children and people of all ages lives since it opened nearly 50 years ago, and the good work continues to this day.
Calon Tysul Swimming Pool Information
The pool is 25m long and 10m across. At the shallow end, the pool is 1m deep and at the deep end, the pool is 2m at the deepest point. We can divide the pool into 5 swimming lanes or divide the pool into three sections when swimming lessons are taking place.

Pool opening hours
Calon Tysul is a charity and due to the recent increase in energy costs, it has been necessary to reduce the opening hours of the pool need. The pool is open for around 30 hours each week, from Monday to Saturday, with most of the time spent on our learn to swim programmes. However, there are a number of other sessions such as Aqua Aerobics, Family Swimming, Lane Swimming.
